Zoltán Bodor graduated from Budapest Medical School in 1983 and has been a member of The Association of Hungarian Professional Creative Artists since 1984, as he had already been painting during his university studies. He has had several solo exhibitions, winning professional prizes. Several publishing houses have employed him as a freelance designer. Numerous medical illustrations were made for Prof. E. Moreno González (Madrid) and Prof. J-G. Villemure (Lausanne). Many decades of painting experience was fortified by his medical qualifications to produce top quality work. Since 2005 he is a member of the Association of Medical Illustrators (AMI).

"For the past few years we have had the opportunity to have Dr Zoltan Bodor, physician and artist, contribute to our scientific work by providing us with artistic representations of surgical steps involved in neurosurgery, specifically as it relates to epilepsy surgery. These will soon be published illustrating the surgical methodology of peri-insular hemispherotomy and multilobar resections in epilepsy surgery. His contribution enhances the quality and understanding of the scientific presentations. His medical education and background is a major asset, aiding communication as he readily understands what is required.

We have no hesitation in recommending Dr Zoltan Bodor as a medical artist.

We are available to provide additional information that could be useful."

"Gastroenterological Surgery was published in the middle of 2002, edited by Dr. János Kiss. Graphic artist Dr. Zoltán Bodor made over one thousand illustrations of for the book, using his knowledge of medicine (he graduated from Medical University). Surgeons appreciate being shown fine detail and his precise drawings greatly contribute to a user-friendly book that can help them in their practice."
